During the winter season, Al Reef Park in Bani Mazen transforms into a serene and magical retreat. Just 7 kilometers west of Abha, the park offers breathtaking views of the village and the Tihama plains, now often veiled in morning mist and touched by the cool mountain breeze. The crisp winter air and soft sunlight create a peaceful atmosphere that invites visitors to slow down and soak in the beauty of nature. The heritage area of the park becomes even more charming in winter. Traditional lanterns light up the old Aseeri house, and open fires provide warmth and ambiance. Visitors can enjoy live demonstrations of local bread being baked over clay ovens, served hot and fresh with locally harvested honey from the nearby "Honey House." Live mountain flute performances continue to enchant guests, with the music blending seamlessly into the tranquil winter landscape. Strolling through the orchard is a refreshing experience in this season, as guests can pick seasonal fruits while enjoying the earthy scent of the damp soil and dew-covered leaves.
